Between the 8th and the 10th of October 2025, Annabel Ruckdeschel participated in the international conference (Un)mapping Infrastructures of Modern Art, IV: Infrastructures of supporting travels and exhibiting modernism transnationally (1940s–1990s)(read more).

The conference was held at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts in Poznań, PL and was organized by Prof. Dr. Bärbel Küster (University of Zurich) and Prof. Dr. Marta Smolińska (Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts, Poznań).

On the 9th of October, Annabel Ruckdeschel held a presentation on "Infrastructures of Solidarity: Travels to and from the 1976 East Berlin Printmakers' Meeting". This talk explored in a first step how the international printmakers' meetings in East Berlin provided an infrastructure for artistic travel, shaped by the intersection of cultural diplomacy and individual interests.
